Alix Olson is coming to Take Back The Night at Knox College tomorrow!

Tomorrow is Take Back The Night at Knox College, sponsored by Students Against Sexism in Society, of which Kate and I are both members. This event will be focused on ending the fear that is generally associated with being out at night if you are a female person, due to the possibility of sexual assault. ...this year Alix Olson will be coming to perform!

Alix Olson is an internationally touring folk poet and progressive queer artist-activist.

And she is awesome. I am so excited.

    I LOVE ALIX OLSON! Her performances on Def Poetry brought me much, much joy, and I love that, since starting to read feminist and womanist blogs, I am starting to see an intersection between this awesome art form and these causes.

    eheeheeeee. I feel all giddy about getting to see her. And I get to see Yellow Rage perform in....15 minutes. Wow. This is going to be an amazing two days. :)
