Sweet Valley High movie by Diablo Cody(!)

I loved Sweet Valley High almost as much as The Babysitters Club, so I'm pretty psyched to see that Diablo Cody is going to pen a movie adaptation of the series. Elizabeth was always my favorite... so brainy.

Any thoughts on the series or Cody's new project?

    I was more of a Babysitters Club gal, but I will definitely be in line to see this - especially since cell phones will be distinctly absent!

    I remember not being very impressed with the Babysitter's Club movie... I think I felt too old even though I was 10 when it came out.

    ooooh i can't wait! esp b/c the show (there was a show a whileeeeeee back) that was pretty sexist and not progressive what so ever.

    sweet valley high books were some of the most flaky series i have ever read. it depicts a completely unrealistic portrait of adolescents. i am a little surprised of its mention here.
