NY Times Series: Race Remixed

The New York Times has been running the series "Race Remixed," which examines the "growing number of mixed-race Americans." I have found this series really interesting, particularly the below video. I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts on the series in general, the topic, and the video specifically.

  1. I watched this video, and also went to their site and watch the one on mixed marriages in the south.

In the college video, I think there is a little bit of naivety in thinking that as multi-racial people increase racism will decrease. I think it will just be along less delineated lines as 'black' and 'white' or 'asian'.

It was great to see the welcoming environment of the university, and also the acceptance of being able to say "I'm white and black".
