utterly gruesome story. learned about it when it first surfaced in the press. it made my heart break. very glad to hear of the conviction. but it is disheartening to know that bill o'reilly and other conservative commentators were seeking to limit the coverage this incident because they felt that it would tarnish the "good reputation" of "patriotic" American soldiers.
Are you serious? At school, I try very hard to limit my access to television, so I get most of my news online. I hadn't heard about Bill O'Reilly, etc. doing that. Sadly, that doesn't surprise me, but it's disgusting nonetheless.
