Michael Jackson- Man in the Mirror
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
And no message could have
Been any clearer
If you wanna make the world
A better place
(if you wanna make the
World a better place)
Take a look at yourself, and
Then make a change
(take a look at yourself, and
Then make a change)
(na na na, na na na, na na, na nah)

No matter what anyone wants to say about the man, his personal life, his legal troubles, or anything else...
The world lost a fucking legend. Way more than a simple entertainer.
I FEEL LIKE I LOST MY BROTHER I CANT STOP CRYING WE LOST A GENIUS AND REALLY A GOOD HUMAN BEING UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN------ JR
I hadn't paid any attention to Michael Jackson as a child- kids rarely do, right? And I hadn't paid any attention to him since childhood in the eighties. But, since his death, he has been impossible to ignore: The recent media frenzy has forced MJ upon us!
So, I couldn't help but notice some of his lyrics now, as an adult, and what I have found surprises me: some of his most famous songs, Dangerous and Billy Jean for example, are fine examples of women-hating, objectifying, stereotype-laden mysogyny, not so different from the typical portrayal of women, as either bitches or whores, found in mainstream hiphop.
His themes include a false pregnancy claim, a gold-digging groupy, and a promiscuous seductress.
He seems to have a problem with women.
Check it out.
Billy Jean:
For forty days and forty nights
The law was on her side
But who can stand when shes in demand
Her schemes and plans
cause we danced on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice, just remember to always think twice
Dangerous:
She's so dangerous
The girl is so dangerous
Take away my money
Throw away my time
You can call me honey
But you're no damn good for me
Dangerous
Dirty Diana:
You'll never make me stay
So take your weight off of me
I know your every move
So won't you just let me be
I've been here times before
But I was to blind to see
That you seduce every man
This time you won't seduce me
Leave me Alone:
There Was A Time I Used To
Say Girl I Need You
But Who Is Sorry Now
You Really Hurt, You Used To
Take And Deceive Me
Now Who Is Sorry Now
You Got A Way Of Making Me
Feel So Sorry
I Found Out Right Away
Don't You Come Walkin'-
Beggin' I Ain't Lovin' You
Don't You Get In My Way
'Cause
(There's A Time When You're
Right)
(And You Know You Must
Fight)
Who's Laughing Baby-Don't
You Know?
(And There's The Choice That
We Make)
(And This Choice You Will
Take)
Who's Laughin' Baby?
