A Reminder...
I am still accepting submissions for the design of my next [feminist] tattoo! So if you are artistic, design me a little something that portrays feminism in a positive manner, and I just might wear it forever!

I googled feminist tattoos because I wanted to get an idea of what was the norm, but I did not at all plan on submitting anything. And this isn't really a submission. But! And I thought it was interesting, the juxtaposition between the feminist fist and the cross stitching. So I just thought I'd throw it out there, because I kind of think a cross-stitched tattoo would be awesome, even though it is most likely not your thing. :)

Just wondering what some of the submitted ideas are :) I am looking to get my second and thought i'd follow in your lead and ask for help on the blog :)
My first is a dove holding an olive branch. i wanted something more feminist but thought a sign for peace was just as good :)
I've only had three ideas submitted. One was the image at the link above. The other was a gavel type thing, which was very cool, but I don't know if it would work for me. And there was a feminist start, kind of like a feminist fist, but in a star.
So it wasn't the most successful idea, but it did give me some ideas. :)
I love the dove/olive branch idea. My first tattoo was the Chinese character for peace. So I have a sweet spot for tattoos of that nature. :)
